Glimmer's Galleon - Part 14

Seriously guys I hate these underwater levels... as you can see in this episode (Glimmer's Galleon) of my Donkey Kong 2 walkthrough, I'm not so good at levels like this. There are some very good secret, like the DK coin at the beginning of Glimmer's Galleon. You know... I don't want to waste my breath on this episode, look at the video, and that's all for this episode.

Music: Lockjaw's Saga

Barrel Bayou - Part 13

We have done two areas and right now we arrived to the Krem Quay in our Donkey Kong 2 walkthrough. In this video we fight our way through the first Donkey Kong swamp level called Barrel Bayou. The swamp levels in this game are not that easy, the first to area in Donkey Kong 2 are pretty simple, but from here, you'll have to concentrate if you're new to Donkey Kong.

The music here called Bayou Boogie (Swamp Theme), and I have to say I like it very much, it's also in my top ten list.

Kleever's Kiln (boss) - Part 12

The Kleever's Kiln level has a pretty easy boss. Why is he really easy to kill? Because he is the stupidest boss in Donkey Kong 2, he doesn't thinking at all, he flies straight into the cannonball that either Dixie or Diddy holds. After hiting the cannonball, you have to jump to the other side of the level, and do this over and over again until Kleever the ghost sword falls into pieces. By the way there is a secret at the top right part of the level, you can find 2 banana coins (if you can't find it by yourself, watch it in my Donkey Kong 2 walkthrough video).

Music: Boss Battle Theme (Boss Bossanova)

Squawks's Shaft - Part 11

Here comes the fascinating music again people at Squawks's Shaft in part 11 of our Donkey Kong 2 walkthrough. It may be an easy track, but if you intend to collect all the bonus and DK coins, it is one of the hardest level in Donkey Kong 2. It may be easy with a walkthrough but when I played this game the first time, I spent hours to find them. I was like: I can't be this dumb, that I can't find either the bonus and the DK coin. After playing through Squawks's Shaft the 20th time I've found it and I was really angry that the gamemakers put the DK coin next to the bonus level, that was so f**king annoying! :D

As I mentioned before the song here is called Mining Melancholy (Mine Theme), go and listen to it on YouTube

Red-Hot Ride - Part 10

Red-Hot Ride is not the easiest level as you can see in my Donkey Kong 2 walkthrough. It may not look hard, but believe me sometimes it's hard to control Rambi on the balloons. There are some good secrets, like the DK coin... the gamemakers did a really good job hiding it. There's nothing more special about Red-Hot Ride so that's all folks, watch the walkthrough video, and have fun!

As I said in my previous post called Hot-Head Hop, the music here is pretty nice, it is called Hot-Head Bop (Lava Field Theme), and it was composed by our master: David Wise!

Lava Lagoon - Part 9

Hey guys it's Thursday and here comes another Donkey Kong 2 walkthrough video with the annoying level Lava Lagoon. I know it's easy, but I just don't like the underwater levels, and not just in the Donkey Kong Country games noooo... I hate them in Super Mario, or in any other 2D games, but let's not change the subject, this is Donkey Kong 2.

This is the first level where we meet with our new animal buddy, Clapper the seal. Unfortunately this is not that type of animal buddy that we can ride by ourselves, he is just sitting, lying or whatever he's doin', and we jump on him (poor little seal :( ). Why we would need that? As you can see the lagoon here is red, because it's hot, and if we jump on Clapper he blows the water. Guess what... he can turn the hot water with a 1second blow to cold water... I'm speechless Rare game makers! But this is a Donkey Kong game where you have bees with sizes of a monkey, so pretend I didn't say anything.

There are pretty good secrets in Lava Lagoon, I don't want to write them down, just check out the walkthrough video above. This is part 9 of our Donkey Kong Country 2 walkthrough, and we're closing to the boss battle people!

The music here is the same like at the Lockjaw's Locker level, it is called Lockjaw's Saga - Ship Hold theme, search it on Google if you liked it.

Kannon's Klaim - Part 8

Oh dear God, here comes the coolest song in the world in our next Donkey Kong Country 2 walkthrough video at Kannon's Klaim. Don't be confused after some episodes if I say awesome to every single Donkey Kong music, but if I have to set up a list, I would say that this is my second favourite music in the second Donkey Kong game. By the way, the tune called Mining Melancholy (Mine Theme), go and check it out on YouTube.

The Kannon's Klaim level has a very interesting secret. The makers of the Donkey Kong 2 were really bastards with us players in this level, because they hid the DK coin inside a Bonus level! I remember when I was a child there weren't walkthroughs and guides, and I've spent weeks finding that damn DK coin running over the frickin Kannon's Klaim around 30-40 times!... f**k

Hot-Head Hop - Part 7

Morning guys... another day and another Donkey Kong Country 2 walkthrough video with a level called Hot-Head Hop. In the previous episode we left the area Gangplank Galleon, and now we are at Crocodile Cauldron the lava levels. Hot-Head Hop can be a tough level for beginner because we have a new animal buddy here, Squitter the spider. Squitter took Expresso's the ostrich place from Donkey Kong Country 1, and I'm really glad Rare did this cahnge because Squitter is definitely my favourite animal buddy from all Donkey Kong games. Why? Squitter can spit net that don't ask me how, but freezes in the air, so you can jump everywhere on any level, and that means more we have to explore more secrets! :)

I have nothing to write about Hot-Head Bop, but there's a cool treasure at the very begining of the level. If you have both Dixie and Diddy, you can jump on to a cliff where you can find a dark hidden chest that contains a green balloon.

By the way the music here is awesome, and by awesome I mean one of on my top ten's list. It's called Hot-Head Bop (Lava Field Theme), and it was also composed by David Wise!

Krow's nest (boss battle) - Part 6

Finally we reached the last level of Gangplank Galleon, Krow's Nest and by last level I mean IT'S BOSS TIME! It's part 6 of my Donkey Kong 2 walkthrough, and honestly I don't know what to write about here. There is two hidden banana coins on the top of the nest, you have to hit the krow 4 four times with its own eggs and that's all folks. As you can see the walkthrough video is really short, so don't worry about this battle, you'll be fine.

The music is not bad, but if we compare it to the original Donkey Kong Country, and the Donkey Kong 3 boss themes, this is the worst. Maybe I'm the one that's crazy, but I don't like it at all. Anyway if you want to listen to it, it's called Boss Bossanova (Boss Battle Theme), search it on YouTube and have fun with it :)

Topsail Trouble - Part 5

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you Rattly, one of the new animal buddies in Donkey Kong 2. It seems that the gamedesigners changed their mind after the first Donkey Kong Country game, and replaced Winky (the frog animal buddy) with Rattly the snake. Honestly, Rattly seems to be much better in my opinion, he (or she) is much easier to control than that frickin Winky, and he/she can also jump very high, so that means there are lots of more hidden treasures in Donkey Kong Country 2 that we can explore.

The Topsail Trouble as you can see in my Dounkey Kong Country 2 walkthrough video is also a very basic level, but there are a few secrets, that can be useful, like at the very end of the track you can find a blue balloon which gives you 3 lifes, holy f**k! :D

The music here is the same like in Mainbrace Mayhem -> Jib Jig (Rigging Theme)
